Taichi Series, Yu Yu Yang recommended Ju Ming to learn Taichi boxing for improving his health, Ju Ming then started to create sculptures centering on the theme of Taichi. In his solo exhibition at the National museum of History in 1976, Ju Ming\u2019s Taichi Series did not receive much attention, it was until the next year, when the Taichi Series was exhibited at the Tokyo Central Art Museum, and achieved tremendous success that the work was finally given due attention in Taiwan. Henceforth, the Tai chi series became the artist widely known works. In this work, the figures upper body turns back with both hands slightly turning inwards, one leg is lifted, while the other leg carries all the weight.
