Zhu Bingren (b. 1944) lives in Hangzhou, China. A master of Chinese arts and crafts whose work can be found in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and the Chinese National Museum. He has developed his own approach to the perception and creation of beauty. He is experienced in bronze craftsmanship and has turned a craft that is steeped in tradition into medium for creating contemporary art. Master Zhu experiment with light and shade, while demonstrating the natural texture and pattern of the materials. He makes use of bronze and crystal to form graceful shapes and lines, making every piece of sculpture unique. His work is a mix of \u2018intentionality\u2019 and \u2018formlessness\u2019, a representation of his feelings, combining traditional chinese concept and modern Western techniques to connect the east and the west.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Master Zhu uses his famous art technique, the art of melting copper to most of his art collections. The uniqueness of this technique is to form copper sculpture without a mold, by uses copper as raw material, casting liquid copper in control and quickly solidify the copper to construct his abstract vision.
