With the deepening of Nini’s image, the artist, Huang Benrei has also extended from the canvas to sculpture creation. In 2018, Benrei created a 270cm tall giant Nini, called the Giant Pet, which maximizes the warmth and healing characteristics of Nini and creates a deeply touching sensory experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nini embodies herself as a gate keeper, sitting in the corner with her arms extended. She gently closes her eyes, ears drooping, her out-reaching hands present the gesture of care, hoping to guard and protect people within her arms. Her size in scale is welcoming to audience which allows them to genuinely open their hearts to Nini.
