Guests can savor signature Portuguese-Macanese cuisine while immersing in the soulful rhythms of jazz, creating a multisensory celebration where taste and sound converge in this unique experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst Beats Where the Music Begins\u201d is more than a feast of music and dining to mark a new step by Lisboeta Macau to foster cultural exchange through performing arts, brings fresh cultural surprises to residents and visitors, and support Macao\u2019s vision as both a \u201cCity of Gastronomy\u201d and a \u201cCity of Performing Arts\u201d, while highlighting the city\u2019s unique charm in tourism, dining, and culture. The jazz evening begins with welcome cocktail and snacks with smooth jazz filled \u201cAngela\u2019s Caf\u00e9 and Lounge\u201d, adding warmth to its nostalgic ambiance of the 1950s. The vibes of the saxophone and the deep, rich tone of the trombone echoes with the retro decoration, allowing guests to feel the spirit of timeless elegance. Portuguese flavours follow in a specially crafted menu for guests to enjoy a refreshing Codfish Salad, a smooth Green Cabbage Soup, and Bitoque (Rump Cap Steak) with Fried Egg, Vegetables and Smoked Ham. Dessert brings a Milk Cream Topped with Caramelized Sugar, paired with House Wine or Beer. Music and cuisine come together, offering an immersive experience of music performance and traditional touch of Portuguese cuisine.<\/p>\n

Chak Seng Lam<\/strong>, a graduated of the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague, is an accomplished Saxophone artist and instructor. He performs actively on the international stage and was named one of the \u201cTop 100 International Cultural Role Models\u201d in 2024. His refined yet dynamic style adds an international vision to the premiere evening, and delivers a performance that reflects a global perspective. Gregory Wong<\/strong>, a Macanese jazz trombonist, trained under masters Chu Ping\u2011shan and Z\u00e9 Eduardo. His performances span classical and popular genres, and his extensive stage experience across diverse productions has established him as a representative figure in Macao\u2019s jazz scene. Winky Lei<\/strong>, a graduate of National Tsing Hua University, is a trombone instructor active in both performance and music education. With solo recitals and award\u2011winning achievements, she has gained recognition as a versatile musician. Their performance will light up the stage at \u201cAngela\u2019s Caf\u00e9 and Lounge\u201d by showcasing the technical mastery alongside deep emotion and artistic intensity to allow guests to enjoy a live music experience that feels profoundly artistic and genuinely moving.<\/p>\n
